X2 Wyoming is the same as South Dakota, we've had it for awhile.

We had the law passed a couple of years ago. We had a State trooper hit and killed right here at our exit on I-94 a couple of years ago, and also over in White Pigeon about the same time. I think that was when it became law in our state. CHEAP fine IMO. I mean I'm sorry your son got the ticket, but it's a GOOD law.
