Is this because they can't keep up with the speed of a chevy. hahaha. But that seems like it will have a ton of flaws. I would pass on this car.

LOL `Zach,
Maybe it's because Ford driver's can't drive (?) (j/k)>

Yes, cars of the future will driver themselves There's one being tested now on a cross country trip...

It might be ok on a long boring road, but I still enjoy driving & being in command of the vehicle I'm in...I don't even like being a passenger in a car/bus/boat/vehicles (LOL) * I do think it would be great for some of the senior citizens here in Florida that never drive over 15-20 MPH (LOL) & sit at a Stop sign 4-ever or make a turn & take 3 lanes 2 do it (LOL)....It's a obstacle course on many of the roads in Florida....Like play'in Dodge'em >LOL<

Thanks Tadd 4 posting/sharing

LoL `Barbara > LOL
The Focus that Grandpa Space got from one of the Seniors that couldn't drive anymore has settings that with the master key can set the speed limit, and set the volume of the sound system so it will only go so high, plus `if the seat belt isn't fastened (the car won't start) I think it's a 2012. He might sell it or give it to his friend. I drove it & it's a stick shift & it has some pep & really handles great...(It has a sport pkg) It was fun 2 drive, but it didn't have any of the settings enabled. I guess it would be good for parents with teens that drive their cars (?)...

I forget how many miles the google car has logged without an accident or a driver.

I personally don't speed too often, as I rather enjoy just cruising, but if I were to let my son take my car, not gonna lie, it would be nice if there was an option to govern the speed just to ensure he and his friends would be a little bit safer, accidents happen no matter what but the odds of the accident happening in the first place multiply with speed being a factor
