>New Batmobile ? Would U drive it ? + more

As Google co-founder Sergey Brin's projects have grown to include self-driving cars and the upcoming Google Glass eyewear, a few employees of the search company have taken to nicknaming him "Batman." Which helps explain why Brin's Tesla Model S was given this makeover for April Fool's Day, featuring a Batman logo and rear wings along with the first car-lashes affixed to a Tesla and a Pepto-Bismol shade of pink. (Look closely above and you'll see the Google Chrome logo on the rims, which Brin already had mounted on his Model S pre-prank).
Brin was photographed Thursday driving his ride around town with the sunroof open, wearing the Glass goggles. Maybe now that's he's fully outfitted, Brin can use his faux Batskills to find an alternative to Google Reader.

I'd drive the Pink Batmobile

to the closest body shop & bring it back to factory....I guess it's a good freaky ride `if U want to get noticed, but I wouldn't want to get noticed in it (LOL)
"2 each their own", but it's not 4 me to own 4-Sure >
I think you should do it 2 your Monte

I would hope that the employees that changed his car to pink did it by having it wrapped. Kind of expensive to have that car actually painted pink just for an april fools joke. And would be grounds for firing if it was my boss's car.
If someone actually painted my Monte without telling me, someone would be in for a world of hurt.
But the batmobile in general just doesn't appeal to me.
The George Barris custom batmobile for the 1960's tv show isn't bad. But the movie batmobiles just don't do it for me. They're ugly pig's of a car with a bunch of big, gawdy styrofoam and plastic crap glued all over them. And I've heard movie special effects people say that the cars actually don't drive worth crap either. The cars had to be towed with wires, and engine sounds added in post-production to make them sound good.
Never been a big batman fan. I mean, the guy is a good-looking rich guy who plays dress up and can't get a girl friend. Batman seems kind of like a loser with more money than brains. And doesn't even use his money wisely.
Now that I just crapped on Batman, anybody got any other super heros?
just kidding
I don't mean to ruin it for anyone. Just not a fan of Batman. But I really don't like the movie Batmobiles. To me it looks like they made them look as gawdy as possible, and it sounds like they're not drivable in real life. If you bought one, you would basically have a trailer queen to bring to shows. Which wouldn't be all that bad really. Just kinda sucks you wouldn't be able to drive it down the street without stuff flying off of it. If it's even drivable at all.
Now cars like KITT or the General Lee or the Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am. Those are cars you can actually cruise around town in.
