oh my GOSH!!! SO CUTE!!!!!!!! i love chocolate labs!! my boss and his wife have one, they got him last year when he was just about dexter's size!! they are so sweet. their dog was super crazy rambunctious though!! he went to "puppy college" at about 6 months though so he's sort of normal now. lol. but he's enormous, 80 pounds and still growing.

congrats on the new addition!!

here is my boss's dog (tek) at the track a couple weekends ago. first guarding his gatorade bottle (he loves to chew on plastic bottles!) and second enjoying the remainder of the ice from the coolers after the day was over.

Here are some new pictures of my boy Dexter, this is the 1 week mark and he is not the same puppy i brought home, he is much smarter then i thought!

after only one week Dexter can, Sit on command, will stay on command (unless another dog/bird come into his vision, then all bet are off..), he also understands the word NO!, and he is 99% housebroken. Not bad for an 9week old puppy!

ok, now on to the good stuff, PICTURES!!!

Reminds me so much of my parent's black lab named Mugsy. He instantly was house-broken and knew easy commands. My dad takes him to the construction site with him. He's very well behaved, never barks (unless late at night if i come home and he's scared) all in all a great dog. He also is never on a leash, no need!

awww, he is the cutest little guy!!!!! good to hear he understands commands already, that is GREAT. Tek even after puppy college still challenges commands and tries to see how far he can go before he gets in trouble. that's also due to a lack of follow-up discipline from mommy and daddy though.

thanks for sharing, he is just adorable!!

Mugsy is a good looking dog, nice shiny coat! i wont let dexter be on a leash unless it is %100 required... he don't run ahead or lag behind he stays right at my heal (which is where he should stay)

that's good! tek works with us, haha. they bring him in to the office every day. the one thing he did catch onto right away was the housebroken thing. he had very few accidents in the first month or two then after that never did, just went and sat over by the door when he needed to go out.

this picture makes me melt!!!
