Default New Acquisition: My Ford's now outnumber my Chevrolets!

There she be!!!

One rather large rusted out section of the bed, another hole the size of a silver dollar at the front. The exterier body panels are solid with pinholes rusted in places. The interior is shot, seat is beyond shot, the dashpad is covered in duck tape, the glove box won't open.... the brake light is on and it feels like my front brakes aren't working....

BUT!

It does work. Brakes are an easy job on tehse things. It has a/c, power steering, and all that stuff is there and working. The engine is a 360 Ford V8 with a C6 behind it and a Ford 9" rear end putting it to the rear axles. And all of that runs enough to drive it up and down the road... and with the mufflers shot, you can hear that engine good!!!

And the price????

$700

Nice. I want a late 80s/early 90s F-150 with a 300 straight 6 as a winter beater. That 300 was one of the best motors made IMO, and that's saying a lot coming from a Chevy guy.

300 I6 was tough... had more torque than a 302 V8 at one time. Ford ran that engine for 30 years.

Thanks for the compliments guys!

Had more torque and I've seen guys open them up and get some good power out of them. Tough as nails too.

The picture I posted was the one I took in the other mans yard when we loaded it up. Darkness was upon us by the time we got home. My dad came down and loaded the truck up for me and I bought him dinner and some gasoline for it.

Here are some pictures my roommate took on Monday of the truck for me.
