I felt like i was going to damage the bumper because i had to bend it to get the bracket far enough to release. I did order brand new ones and they should be here in a week my car differs some from the manual though. a diferent type of clip for the covers that had to pull away to get at the second hand screw. can't wait to get the new ones in

 

You should have an 04, It's just 2 little clips that just slide off

 

i dislike the newer headlights though they aren't mean looking enough for me

 

MY headlights are mean as hell...

 

agreed on that its just the overly curly 00-05 ones I dislike

 

I kinda wish the 00-05 headlights didn't have the curvy part around the lowbeams. Wish they wen't straight across.

I like the curve in the headlights. Its how you tell that its a monte. 5th and 7th gens look like thier sedan brothers from the front.

 

I love the curvy lights on hte Monte Carlo... I like a curvy car in general though. I like my cars like I like my ladies: curvy.
