Update 11-8 from his aunt
"Hello everyone. We have received great news that the cancer has not spread into Brennan's bone marrow. He began his treatment last week at Scott & White. His doctor is now waiting on his counts to come up so they can start a radioactive dye treatment. He is very optimistic that this will knock the tumors out. His doctor is awesome. He is a fighter just like Brennan. With the both of them together and God on our side, I believe Brennan will beat it.

Brennan is still having sensations in his legs. This is a wonderful sign. The doctor says one of the tumors is pinching a nerve causing the loss of his legs. Hopefully with the tumor shrinking with his treatment, he can get the use of his legs back and even walk again."

I can completely empathize with having someone you know/love affected by Cancer. My 42 year old sister was diagnosed with NHL in June, in her THROAT. It was Stage 1, so they did chemo and she's just finished a short round of radiation (18 treatments, every week day for over 3 weeks) and they will be checking soon to see how it worked. It looked like she was Cancer free after the chemo, but the Doc wanted to make SURE, since her Cancer was Non-Hodgkins, but had some other symptoms/indications of Hodgkins, too. They decided to treat it aggressively.

I'll keep Brennan in my thoughts and prayers, as well. Cancer is scary, and it sucks. I just hope that soon, we will find a cure for everyone.

I too can empathize with having someone you know/love affected by cancer. A few people in my family had cancer. Including my mom. I also worked at a local hospital that is also the regional cancer center. So I've seen it from different points of view.

It affects the family and friends hard as well. Keeping the family and friends in my prayers too.

Becky, we will add Brennan to our prayers. Our daughter is fighting colon cancer - she's undergone chemotherapy and radiation, but the cancer remains and new treatments are starting.
