i am in maryland and was wondering ifthere is any good places that tune cars....i am doing the top swap and was gonna have to take it some where....please help me

Unfortunately I don't know any in the area. That's actually why I'm going to be getting myself HPTuners and starting to teach myself haha.

Might have to deal with a canned tune for now? Or look around for dyno/speed shops in the area and HOPE they have knowledge with the 3800

Just buy a topswap PCM from a vendor, then bring it to a dyno.

whos got the top swapped canned tuned?????hp tuners what the difference between pro and standard on those...which one should i get....499....or 649.00

Tuning is NOT easy, if you want to get into it I would definitely recommend the PRO version. You can run the scans of your car without a computer.

I have a nice laptop and no i didnt check out the getitforcheap....but the only difference is the with compute without chibi....just got the heads and a whole lot of goodies so total as of right now i got 300.00 dollars in all the parts for top swap and some....also couldnt find gotit for cheap

thanks chibi ill look again not familar with these computers to much at all really but know enough to get my self in trouble....where can i learn some things at about all this besides school......did i read this right about soon as you plug any vcm/pcm in it erases all of the stuff in it????

are tunes bad for your car? i heard that doing a tune may abuse the car and make it ride/drive like it has more miles than it does? i also heard that Companys dile the performance back ect to make the car last longer? idk if any of this is true.. i was just wondering cause i want to do one down the road
