Here is the History on this Rare Find in American Automotive History which I got from the Owner. If only this car could talk...Where would you find another one like besides a Museum.
I PURCHASED THIS 40 CHEV FROM A FAMILY WHO HAD IT FOR OVER 20 YRS. THEY UPGRADED A FEW THINGS FOR EVERY DAY DRIVING LIKE, DISC BRAKES ON THE FRONT, 2 SPEED ELECTRIC WIPERS, HEATER, DEFROSTER WITH A 3 SPEED FAN, A BLACK ROLLED AND PLEATED INTERIOR AND CHROME PLATED THE GARNISH MLDGS. PREVIOUS OWNER ALSO TOLD ME WHEN HE GOT THIS CAR IT HAD A STOCK 327 AND A POWERGLIDE UNDER THE HOOD AND THE CAR CAME FROM DOWN SOUTH. THEY HAD JUST INSTALLED A REBUILT 350 WITH A MILD CAM AND ALUMINUM INTAKE AND 400 TURBO WITH NEW DUAL EXHAUST. WE WERE LOOKING AT THE CAR AND WHEN WE GOT TO THE TRUNK, I SAW THE DOORS IN THE TRUNK AND THE SECRET COMPARTMENT. THE OWNER STATED LOUDLY, WE DIDN'T DO THAT! IT WAS THAT WAY WHEN WE BOUGHT IT. WHEN THE TIME CAME THIS YEAR FOR ME TO TURN IT INTO A GASSER I REALLY STARTED LOOKING IT OVER CLOSER AND REALIZED WHAT THIS CAR REALLY WAS !!! ALSO WHY IT HAS A 40 CHEVY PICKUP STEERING BOX (FOR THOSE OLD DIRT ROADS). A CAR FRIEND TELLS ME I SHOULD TAKE THIS CAR TO DAWSONVILLE GA. FOR THEIR ANNUAL MOONSHINE FESTIVAL. I FIND OUT THIS YEAR IS THE 43rd ANNUAL, AND ALSO THE MOVIE THUNDER ROAD (1958) WITH ROBERT MITCHUM WAS ABOUT DAWSONVILLE. AND THE BEGINNING OF NASCAR, I CALLED AND FOUND OUT THAT ONLY MOONSHINE CARS CAN PARK IN THE DOWNTOWN AREA BY THE OLD COURT HOUSE WHERE THEY HAVE A CAR SHOW AT THE GEORGIA RACING HALL OF FAME. I CALLED THEN EXPLAINED THIS CAR TO THEM AND SENT PHOTOS WHICH GOT THE CAR ACCEPTED WITH AN ASSIGNED PARKING SPOT. WHAT WAS WILD IS THAT FROM ALL THE CARS AT THAT SHOW THIS CAR WAS THE ONLY ONE WITH A HIDDEN COMPARTMENT TO HAUL MORE MOONSHINE. I HAD THE PLEASURE OF MEETING GORDON PIRKLE, THE LOCAL HISTORIAN, AND OWNER OF THE DAWSONVILLE POOL HALL, WHERE NASCAR GOT IT'S START. HE LOOKED AT THIS CAR THEN SAID TO ME THAT "THIS OL' BOY WAS BRILLIANT AS MOST FORDS WERE MARKED CARS AND THE LAW AND THE REVENUERS WERE CHASING THEM ALL THE TIME". "THIS OL' BOY TAKES A 40 CHEVROLET WITH A BIGGER LOAD CAPACITY, AND CAN DELIVER HIS MOONSHINE ANYTIME HE WANTS WHILE NO ONE IS LOOKING FOR HIM." HE HAD TO HAVE MADE MORE MONEY THAN ANYONE TOO. I WAS VERY HONORED TO GET A MOONSHINE CAR TROPHY ON SUNDAY. AND GORDON SAYS TO ME, "NOT BAD FOR YOUR 1ST TIME". A Great car for any serious car collector or collector of History from this Time Era. It's More original that restored. The Paint is not perfect, Interior is not perfect. It is a good running and driving car. This is a private party sale with a clear title. This car runs and drives good, it was taken on the trailer for the 800 mile trip back to Dawsonville, GA. (google it to get the History on this town and moonshine and Nascar )Email if you have Questions. I do not see these cars come up for sale too often and when they do they get bought quickly.

THE FENDERS ON THIS CAR ARE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. THE CAR IS PAINTED IN BLACK LACQUER ITS ORIGINAL COLOR, IT'S NOT TOO SHINY, BUT YOU COULD WET SAND AND BUFF IT, YET THIS WAY IT JUST FLOWS WITH THE REST OF THE CAR.

they served me well. I did have some Fords but that was cause my next door neighbor owned the dealership. When he passed and his son took over I could never make a deal. I owned a Aerostar that the wife got stuck on the Railroad tracks in an ICE storm. The Coal Train ran in the sliding door and took it up the Tracks 1/4 of a mile. It was a 7 passenger Now 3 in line. I never bought another Ford, when asked why seeing as how my neighbors wife and son still owned the Ford Dealer. I said "they just don't hold up" I am usually a few feet away when they catch on. Social networking is kind of a crazy thing. But you can call me Dale if you wish, most everybody does. It is obvious why. I live in Nebraska, I lived in California for a long time and Iowa as well. It is fun to be home for awhile.
This weekend we are doing a fundraiser for Wounded Warriors thru a Car Club in Columbus, NE. You take a photo with the Intimidators Twin and give any donation you want 1 penny on up and we email that photo to the person. Might print a few too. Give All the Funds to the WW. they deserve all our respect. They say "I am the closest thing to the real thing". I may look like the Standups in the photo's but it is me. When I go to a race I don't wear the Dale stuff, the Uniform an such, out of respect. I met the Dale once, we spent a few days together, He gave me as much crap as he could and I returned the same. I didn't even know who he was tell he introduced himself. I just thought he was another bozo who looked like me. He was a practical joker too. Pulled some stuff.......... Funny stuff. Sorry to ramble. Later...................!

I had to use the web, but it is like the below one ?
1963 Ford Galaxie

1963 Ford Galaxie (Factory Lightweight, Holman & Moody NASCAR, 500, Galaxy 500, R-Code) | Conceptcarz.com
Click above link "427" c.i. ?: ( I just noticed it doesn't have the rear fender fin : ( But it's a nice one LOL)
We have a winner on the 1961 Ford Starliner,(SPACERIDER)
real neat car featured at a Car show back a few years. the White one is a 1963 Ford Galaxie. Sorry I can't do all the Trophy thing but if you show me I will learn.
I have a Chevelle Story that relates to the 63 Ford Galaxie. I went with my best friend to shop for a 1970 Chevelle, it was November of 1970. We found a nice Silver one at Rosen Novak Chevrolet in Omaha, NE. My friend asked me to test drive it as he wasn't proficient with a Standard Trans, this thing had a 396 with a 4 gear. So I rolled out of the dealership it was indoors at the time. My buddy was riding shotgun, the salesman was in the back, I punched it, speed shifted it thru the gears to the next light, the car was sideways and the salesman was scared to death. Kinda like the Jeff Gordon Pepsi videos. Anyway my buddy bought the car, and of all things he let me drive it home 75 miles, he followed in the 63 Ford. I was really a special deal.
