The company in Vegas was in 2012, called Exotic Racing. It was a fun time, but I admit, Nelson's Ledges was a more enjoyable driving experience!

Nice! They always seem to have a good variety of vehicles to try.

If you're ever in the area again, Id give them another shot. They joined with Speed Vegas just a couple years ago, so now they share that new dedicated track south of the strip built just for this purpose. Certainly on the short end for a road course, but it's light years better in terms of design + layout than the old track they had up by the speedway (especially if they were still using the course on the infield of the speedway when you went).

I certainly wasn't disappointed. I do hope to go back to Vegas someday in general. Great time and didn't have to gamble to have fun! Good shows and lots to see.

Im 99% positive this is the car, correct?

Had a fun idea. Gonna find a spec sheet on it, recreate it for Assetto, and see what kind of time I can get. It obviously wont be a 1-1 recreation but it should be close enough to be entertaining. Im not the best modder and cannot model at all but Im pretty good at modifying physics and I already have a 125i model to use.

It will certainly be several days before I get the car in game but I think itll be a fun watch when its all said and done.

Same here! Gambling isnt really my thing - too many statistics classes to throw money away on 100% luck games that are biased out of my favor and too little talent to have a positive influence on games that have any skill component to them. Doesn't help that gambling is far more widespread these days across the country, often with better odds locally, so there's no real draw for me to doing it there.

I just miss the days when the theming was heavier / more unique and they had so many more non gambling attractions. Now they mostly look and feel like any other casino in the world from the inside, so it makes gambling even less desirable to me.

Stumbled across a random ad today scrolling FB - looks like the new AC (EVO) game will not only include the ring as it has before, but also roughly 600 sq miles of open world around it. They said it should be out on console in about a year.

That may just push me over the edge to buy a current gen console (I never got into PC gaming, but I have most historical consoles made). I'm still a generation behind as my video game use dropped off a ton since we bought this house to remodel a few years back. Doing the cloud gaming via GamePass further reduced my desire for a new console since many of the big name titles can be played on the old system via the cloud.

But being able to recreate my experience on that real life trip down to driving into / around town would be amazing, even if I had to drop a few hundred to get into a modern console.

The world is looking up for you. That would be bad ***, able to gamer drive the very streets you recently were bopping around on. A few hundred for a console, or a few thousand to go back over to Deutschland.

Last video games I ever played were the Medal of Honor ones. It chewed up a few hundred hours of my life, yikes, nada mas.

Oh man, the highly anticipated EVO! Ive been following what (very) little development progress Kunos has been putting out for the last year. Being a huge fan of AC and ACC, I can only eagerly await this next iteration. The bar is set high on this one and I believe it will be a great sim however, I dont think it will live up to the hype. People are just expecting it to be too much. Everyone is expecting literal perfection. Maybe not perfection on release, but everyone seems to think this will be THEIR sim eventually. If youre interested in following it, Race Department (Overtake) would probably be the most up to date place to get info.

Finally got a clean lap in with the 125i on Nords. Gotta make a decent replay now. After that I can work on getting a better time. Id like your opinion (notes) on the cars performance though. I feel like I may be way off on my power delivery. Ill get a video up in a bit.

How are they about putting out a completed / tested product at launch? Trying to see if I should jump on it when it comes out or give it a few months.

Ive just had my absolute fill lately of games releasing that arent actually done - the game physically functions but crashes / full of bugs / cant get past cetain levels etc. Really sours my desire to ever go back to it again. Even the new MS Flight sim (via game pass) - the sandbox stuff worked OK, but career was a buggy mess, so I dropped it after just a couple weeks.

Thanks!
