Police: Teacher Shot During Robbery At Miami School

MIAMI -- A teacher was shot Tuesday outside at a Miami-area high school during an apparent robbery, but his injuries were not life-threatening, a school district spokesman said.[align=center][/align]
Quintin Taylor, a spokesman for Miami-Dade County Public Schools, said the male teacher was shot in his lower body.[align=center][/align]
The teacher, whose name is not being released, "was alert as he was being transported" to Jackson North Medical Center, Taylor said.[align=center][/align]
The teacher had been taking a cigarette break across the street from the school during lunch when he was confronted by another man who tried to rob him, Taylor added.[align=center][/align]
Miami-Dade Police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta said police received a 911 call at 11:27am reporting a person shot at Miami Carol City Senior High School.[align=center][/align]
"No students inside the school have been injured," Taylor said.[align=center][/align]
Carol City elementary, middle and senior high schools were on lockdown, he said.[align=center][/align]

`Jason, I'm glad that you didn't think I was being cruel.
That was not my intent. I don't believe in purposely hurt'in
anyone, or myself : )
I'm just amazed @ some of CowBoys posts.
He has set convictions on his beliefs. I respect them, but I may not
always agree with them. The MCF is made up of a diverse group
of Monte Carlo members from all age groups, and backgrounds.

well... that was a little random lots of my random crap comes up in 4th period... next semester i don't even have a class with computers, so around mid january all of this mess will stop.

You want to hear a funny. we are told tha tyou have to advertise the truth (truth in advertiseing)
Why isit that we have to do this over a bottel of shampoo but when it comes to our Goverment it is ok to LIE and make jugment calls that are so far away from the truth that they should not even have came in to debate.
This is goign in to a eletion year once again the canidates will come out with all of thier B.S. and then it is up to us to figure out what is or is not true and weathe ror not we want to let this clown run out country for the next 4-8 years. and pay him for the rest of his life.
think with the price that comes with it we should at least have to put thease pepole on the spot and make them quote only facts about each other.
If your goign to come up with dirty laundry or skelitons in somesones closet at least make them TRUE!@!

That reminds me of a commentary made by A. Whitney Browne on saturday night live many years ago.
He said it used to be you voted for the best man for the job, the person you liked the most. Then somewhere down the line it degraded to voting for the person you disliked the least. Now I'm voting against the person I hate the most.
I found myself doing the same thing when ever there's an election.
I forget who said it, but there's a quote from someone who said, "The people who are smart enough to successfully run a country, are also smart enough to stay out of politics."

Exactly why I don't listen to news or read the papers, either. If something important happens, I hear about it and check it out. I only listen to Sirius radio or my cd's, and watch Speed channel or movies on tv. TOO MUCH PROPAGANDA!
