My son needs your prayers
Sandi, read what happened today how my prayer request got answered. Your's will get answered too, If we have the faith of a child. I was told that today by my Mom. It's true. Think about it. We must be all trusting, as a young child is of their parents, we must be trusting with our Father in Heaven. He IS all powerful and all knowing, and if we have faith like a child, with the un-waivering knowledge that He WILL take care of all of our needs (not necessarily our wants), God WILL answer our prayers and take care of us. Sometimes no is the answer, just as we have to tell our children no sometimes. Can you imagine if we told them yes to everything they wanted, like at Christmas???? We are no different.
God WILL take care of your son. He WILL recover, and will be stronger than before. Maybe not the same as before, but stronger. That which doesn't kill you will make you stronger. I am living proof of that one. Have faith, even when it hurts and you don't understand why, have faith. Your Father in Heaven loves us ALL more than we can imagine, and your son, too.
We will continue to pray for him Sandi.

I want to say a big THANK YOU for all of your kind words, thoughts and prayers for my son.
Heavenly Father, Bless and watch over this caring group of people who put my son into their thoughts and prayers. Please keep them safe and let them all know comfort and peace. Amen.
Here is an update:
They took the tache (sp?) out Sunday morning as they felt he didn’t need that breathing assist anymore. Sunday night they moved him from the ICU and put him into the trauma recovery unit. And yesterday evening they let him come home with me. Can you believe it?? 22 facial fractures, surgery to add titanium plates to both sides of his upper jaw, surgery to realign his nose, a fractured skull and he’s actually home here with me?
He still has a long recovery and will have quite a few more doc appointments. He’s a bit disoriented, a bit cranky and in a great deal of pain, so I’m watching him closely. We don’t really know about any long term repercussions. With head trauma you never know, so I guess we’ll cross that bridge if and when we get to it. And it's hard to tell right now with the pain medication he's on.
Once again, Thank you. You have no idea how much your kindness and encouragement helped me to hold it together, when in actuallity all I wanted to do was fall apart.
Blessings to you all,
Sandi
