I've been looking for a new truck but hadn't got any thing saved for a down payment so jokingly I said some one needs to hit the truck so insurance can give me a check for a down payment.I was only kidding.4 hours later parked out on the street a guy on his way home nailed it.He's fine wasn't drinking or anything just didn't see it in the rain.Thats about it.His car is toast an there most likely going to total out the mule. The guy didn't try to run.Theres been a lot of hit an runs on my street.
She's been a good truck.Got my money's worth out of her

Looks like an easy fix, new box and bumper but if you can get some money for it I'd say take it.

My friend bought a truck on time to replace the parts on a lifted 4 wheel drive truck they were doing a frame of resto on. A drunk driver totaled it in front of their house and the insurance company paid them off like 6000 or 7000 dollars and let him keep the truck.lol. So he still got to use the cab and doors like he wanted and then sold the rest of the useable parts. Maybe you can have some luck like that.

Not going to keep her. She's been a great truck but it's too small for the kids in the back an there is a few thing that need to be fixed that aren't cost effective.
I just thing of it as now I have a down payment for my next one.
