went to a bird fair/sale today and drop off a deposit for a baby african grey parrot. the baby are 4 weeks old and i won't get it til it's wean that's like about 3-4 more months. i had parrots in the past and now wanting to get another one. i done a lot of research on these greys and find how smart they are. my last parrot was a grey btw. i end up selling it cuz i was working some crazy hours and don't have time for it at that time. can't wait to bring it home. my last 3 parrots are named "george". i think this one will be the 4th george LOL.

 

Pretty to look at, but I can't stand the noise birds make personally, and I kinda feel bad keeping something that can fly in a tiny 1 cubic foot cage too.

as far as noise level the african grey parrot do not scream like the macaw, cockatoo or amazon parrot. they are the most quietest parrot. they more into talking and and mimic sound than scream. 2 of my previous amazon parrots are very loud and they freakin screaaaaaam like crazy!
