Default My Monte and I Share a Birthday (Almost)

When I took these pictures, I thought that 8 was a 9. I thoguth the car and I ahd the same birthday... but the pictures make that 9 look like an 8, and I think it actually is..... oh well...

Thats real close lol. After looking at the pics im still undecided if its a 8 or 9 :p. It really looks like both.

If it is 09-02, then it was made on my 13th Birthday. The tag in the door is 08-02 though... it could have been made close to the end of hte month I guess.

Anyone happen to know if this factory is open on Sundays? August 1st would be a Thursday, September 1st would be a Sunday.

Mine was made febuary 28th 03 lol i so badly wish it was the 29th haha & its an 8 on yours duane

Wouldn't an 8/2 still be a 2002 production model? If yours is an '03, then I think it has to be made in Sept. One of the first '03s off the line. If that piece even signifies that - what it that thing anyways?

That is the rear valve cover. That date would signify the day the engine was inspected and approved at the factory. The door tag for the car is 08/02. What i meant when I said 09-02 was actually 09-01-02. I think Mike is right, it's an 8. But when you look at it in person, it's hard to say if it's an 8 or a 9.

And my dad had a '95 Volvo that was built on June 15 '94 once.....

Car companys usually stop model year production in june/july & start the next in august & usually lots get em in sept oct
