Thanks! I didnt get any shots from the front of the car, but the main issue I have with it is the previous owner spray painted the bumper to cover up scrtaches and etc. and its cracking n dry n looks like crap gunna have to work with it this summer.

I don't recall messing with any door chime. Then again it was a GA GT, not a GP GT. Not sure of the differences.

 

Nice GP. I miss my old GTP to be honest. It was a lot of fun, not to mention a practical car. When I first started my search for a new DD, another GTP was actually what I was primarily looking for until I figured out that most of the 97-03 body style are overpriced around here. Just missed snagging a cheap 97, missed on a cheap 01, and then missed on an 04 Intimidator Monte and 05 Altima SE-R before I ended up with my current Monte. There's 2 07 GTs (with the L32 motor) at the same lot as the 06 Monte SS that I'm gonna glance at. Kinda wishing I had held off on the Monte with the transmission going south. I think I'm gonna have to make do for the time being though since I doubt I can afford to trade it in on the SS or one of the GTs

 

Well should be leaving shortly to Wal-Mart to look for a dash kit again, If I can't find anything that says my year I guess I'll go with the one with the dash chime feature and hope for the best, and for sure keep track of my reciept

 

See I had an 03 Grand am GT at one time and the door feature is where u turn the key off but music still plays until you open the door, well i got the kit from walmart for it with the little black box and it was a schose brand and everything worked great, so now I have an 01 GP GT with the same feature but a couple years older and I cant find a dash kit listed for my year I'd imagine the radio would be the same set up as they used in the 03 GAGTs so the same kit should work right? As mine does not have the BOSE system

 

SupplySgt Ik the feeling you always get something you thinks a good deal and then weeks sometimes months down the road you see a better deal seems like sometime ya just cant win, I try and make the best of it by using my ol but I'm sure same type a motto as others say, well this ones mine now and I can't change it so lets make it my into my own or something like that ya know lol

Dont never second guess yourself you will drive yourself crazy. You have a very nice Grand Prix and you can make it what ever you want. It took 5 years before I had my Grand Prix to where I wanted it to be.
