It's a BIG election this year. Better lay plans to escape the country if your guy isn't the winner come November 6th. Oh, Canada…

we get a lot of Canadians delivering for the company i work for (The head office of the company is in Canada!) So they deliver parts and such down here. Anyways talking to those guys, they say Canada is not much better off than here. They are struggling just like we are with the economy!

Hi `Devin,
Thanks for your posts. I've met many Canadians here in Florida...Several in the area I grew `up were snow birds & came down every winter to enjoy the warmer weather...They were from all over parts of Canada....We are all North American's. I did not find them any different then people from the USA...Maybe accents, but they say that I have a southern accent, but my senior friends that are from New York & Boston also have a wild accent to me 4-Sure...

I think the Canadian dollar has more buying power now then ours. I like people from all over Planet `Earth...I just don't like the ones that purposely hurt, or were trained to hurt.

I sure wish that everyone wanted to live in peace & happiness.

I found the above topic link funny when I found it on my homepage (lol)...I know several that will really get upset `if their candidate doesn't win in this election..I'm not that extreme...

I do know that the beach village I grew `up is changing with several of my citizen friends getting older & some can't afford to live by the ocean...The taxes/insurance & erosion of maintaining is just getting to `high to remain... It's very sad to me, but it's life in 2days world. People fade, and people move on in life...Life is always full of changes 4-Sure...

Wish the reader of this good changes in `Life ~> EnJoy & always try to make the best of `it...
Peace/Happiness 2 `all from `Space

Canada is very picturesque. But economy wise, Devin is right. We're not much better off than the U.S. If you plan on moving here, get used to the cold. Unless you live in southern Ontario, where JuniorCar Brent and I live.

Another big difference if you move here. No Dunkin Donuts. Starbucks? Yeah, we have Starbucks. But they're few and far between. If you come here, get used to Tim Horton's.
