Default Motor Trend Truck of the year (2012)

Motor trend has released its 2012 truck of the year and it is.............................. The Ford F150, take a read over the article. IMO it sounds like an excellent truck.

Ford F-150 named Motor Trend 2012 Truck of the Year - Yahoo! Autos

i work at a ford dealership. they sell like hot cakes. very nice trucks as well, and i'm partial to GM. check out the f150 FX4. best looking F150 next to the Raptor IMO.

Hi `Keane,
Thanks for creating/posting & sharing this thread. It helps create activity & informs our member's what's out there on our highways of life.

I like trucks, but they are very expensive to purchase & operate, but if you need one for work, or have the $'s to have one for fun, then it's another great ride.

The Ford V-8 XLT(in your link) comes in at $38,745, which was considered about right for a work truck and seemed like a steal compared with the $50,115 for the other models.
WoW...
Thanks `Keane for all your contributions & being an active member 4-Sure

With trucks i'm partial to ford, cars i prefer GM. I like alot of the features on the truck, i think the $38k price tag is rather steep though. If you're gonna spend $50k on a truck i'd rather buy a nice car imo. But i'm glad its american!

my dad had a ford, and it was my first truck, and it held up very well, ran 11 years no problem till the accident, and even then it was still wanting to keep going!! but i am also moving toward GMC and Chevy. but i bet they are real nice
