Most Difficult Thread I Have Ever Had To Start
Kerry I am so sorry to hear this news. I could not imagine the pain you are in. As others have said you need to stay strong for your girls. They will need you more than ever. If there is anything I can do please let me know. Gregg.
Life will be cruel, the pain lightens some, but her memory will forever be with you. All you will be able to do is cry and be mad at her for leaving, but then have to smile remembering all the wonderful times, her voice, her laugh, even the tense times, and you would do it all over again if only she would come walking through the door one more time. Feel for you bud, feel for your daughters the most, poor things.
My wife passed in 04 from heriditary heart problems, just 39. It hurt me, but nearly killed our 15 year old daughter to lose mom. She still crys today for her, and I will when a certain song comes on the radio. Life is cruel.........For every thing there is a season, a time to live, a time to laugh, a time to love and a time to die. And surely the sun will rise and your daughters and you will remember mom, and there is not much one can do but remember and put on a brave new face for the day. Don't know if one really ever gets over it. So sorry for you, may she now rest and find comfort in passing. She will come back, look for signs.. We think a strange wiff of perfume in the home, or a faint cigarette smoke is her telling us she is here visiting. She will come to you in your dreams, no one is judged when we pass, all is happiness and forgiveness. Blessings to all of you......

Thanks so much for the kind words everyone. I am so crushed and lost right now. Zippy02, I'm so sorry you had to and still are going through this. I feel so bad for my mother in law also. My wife's dad passed away 4.5 years ago, now her daughter and she was an only child. Other than brothers and sisters, all she has left of her immediate family are my daughters and I. I am never going to "get over" this. I'm guessing I will eventually be able to function again, but my wife will ALWAYS be on my mind. She was my life.
