Good morning guys, happy new year!

We got 3" of snow yesterday. After the widespread snow system passed yesterday morning, there was a persistent lake effect band that set up right over us for a while that created very slick roads last night. We went out for an early dinner and saw several spinouts on the way home.

Question

Good Morning and Happy New Year!!
I got the new link here for the Best of show photo contest. https://montecarloforum.com/forum/ge...2-times-61438/

Well Nebraska sucks a football they didn't even make the toilet bowl this year. However we Rank No 1 in the nation in Flu like illness and I am one of those who got ill. We also have no shortage of Snow either West of here where my son lives he got 11.5 inches and in the upper west section there is a town that got 18 inches. Where would you put that stuff? So far here we only got about 1.5 inches and most of that disappeared yesterday.

I-80 is closed on this one

The truck had been going the other way and ended up over here. that was probably a wild ride.

Well it looks like it will be a nice day here today.
The sun is out and the weather appears to be warming up for a couple of days.
Stay well everyone after all the family stuff over the last few weeks the grand kids must have been ill and now they have given it to me.
Got to the Dr. and got some meds.
For those of you who have to get a prescription filled for something get the app called GoodRX it saved me $20.00 at Walmart on my antibiotic. Thats a big deal.

Remember to vote to for the best of show for photo's in 2019 I have the link right here.
You can vote 2 times but not for the same one and you have to do it the same time you vote you can't wait till another time to vote.

Good morning guys.

Got a quick 0.3" of snow yesterday afternoon. This week's weather is suppose to be all over the place - full sun today and 40 degrees over the next two days, 25 Wed, rain Thur and Fri and back up to 50 by Friday and then back into the 30s with a winter storm for the weekend that has the potential to drop 5"+ of snow depending on the track.

Good morning everyone!! Today is supposed to be nice maybe 45 degrees which is much better than the 20's we have been having. It is difficult to get much done in this type of weather.
I will get a new photo contest up this week sometime so stay tuned, we can base it one past photo's or current photo's kinda like winter rules for Golfing. Lol
I have completed the new Winning Certificates for the photo contest Best of show.
Check that out.
I put the link here

Good morning guys. We're having our Club staff meeting today.

So the weather here has really gone downhill since yesterday evening. Currently sitting at 39 degrees with solid rainfall and temps are steadily dropping. About 1.5" of rain has already fallen and we're expecting roughly another 1.5" of rain. We're under a 'flash flood watch' til 4am Sunday and a 'Ice Storm Warning' until 7 am Sunday. Flooding is possible, and has already become an issue in some areas, and that rain will turn to freezing rain/ice and then snow later today as temps continue to drop. Our County trucks have the chains on and are on standby.

Wow just one of the many reasons I hate winter. This Morning it is 5 degrees above in Central Nebraska.
Last Monday the Omaha World Hearld did an article on my friend in La Vista, NE about his white Monte Carlo a Tribute to Dale Earnhardt. They gave me a little blurb they took a boat load of pictures but I haven't seen them I can't access them and I am not going to buy a Subscription to the paper when I am so far away from Omaha. It seems the lion share of the photos are on the E online edition of the paper.

Looks like this

Good morning guys.

Well, another winter storm is on tap for us this weekend - late Friday PM through early Sunday AM. Initial snow amounts where I am are 5-7" depending on track and temperature. It's suppose to warm up enough during a portion of the day Saturday that it appears it'll change over to rain and then, as the temps drop late Saturday, back to snow again.

I've been working on a new license plate design and am now at the point of trying to contact and get it to our Michigan legislators for consideration. We'll see what happens.
