It's a 2-door lumina... which last I checked in the 5th Gen counted as a Monte Carlo :P

I hate that Nascar uses 2-door versions of cars when they don't exist. I thought there used to be a rule that it had to be a streeted car

 

Might be wishful thinking on my part.

But those US Fidelis tv commercials with Rusty Wallace.

When the two guys are setting in the waiting room you see a white car setting behind them.

used 'ta be. many many moons ago. they went all uniform years ago in nascar. i still love watching classic nascar races when they used convertibles. no helmets, regular ol' seat belt, a real STOCK car. on the beach in daytona. wish i was around back then. that was when racing was real and exciting.

not that it's not exciting now, but was much more back then. 'course there were a lot more injuries and deaths back then too. so.

 

I grew up watching it... but since Rusty retired, I stopped watching :P

I do miss getting the RV and camping infields from thurs-sun though

 

Chevy did make 2 door Luminas. I had a 92 Lumina Z34 and they also had a trim called the Euro.

 

The movie Step-up has a 5th gen( car that they stole)
