I have been there with all the questions about my 1940 chevy & my 1969 corvette, Yeah I don't like it but that's ok alot of people don't know..
I was at one show an a guy had 1963 nova SS conv. , It had a V8 in it.
the owner thought it came stock that way.. I had to show him in his
pic book the stock 6 in the engine bay.. He bought it done..Nova didn't get a V8 till 1964..

In my opinion car shows are a way to pass on the car culture to younger generations. It is a fun,upbeat party atmosphere and negitive people dont belong. If someone doesn't want to pass the knowledge along to someone else who asks a few questions he should stay home.

I personally like car shows cause I learn a lot from the younger and older dudes (and dudettes)

My theroy is no matter how much you know (or think you know) ya can always learn a new trick or two from some one else.

99% of the poeple talking crap on FWD Montes don't use their RWD to their advantage anyway. You should have asked her why she needs a RWD Monte anyway, she could easily drive from the oven to the sink in a FWD car.

Truth be told, I don't think I have much room to insinuate that anyone is an old fart...except for Rick...because I think I might have a year or two on you, Tadd. Yep, I'm a full-fledged member of the old fart club myself...biologically anyhow.
