I just got back from my brother-in-law's girlfrind's birthday party. Met a fellow gear head. The following is a summary of a meeting I had with a fellow older gear head and his wife


My Brother-in-law : John meet my brother inlaw he is into cars too

Gear Head: I just got back from a RE Olds Cruise

Me: Oh did you take your Olds to the RE Olds car show down town Lansing yesterday?

Gear head: No, just stupid people at car shows asking stupid questions about my car.

Me : Oh I was there with my modified Monte

Gear Head's wife: Isn't awful what GM did to the Monte? Just terrible

Me : Excuse me see you later


I have never met such an ole school snob I have heard of them but never met one till to day.

I think he was just suck on old Oldsmobiles and cars pre- 1960. This guy didn't even like car shows becuse he felt the people going to them where stupid. "I don't like stupid people asking me stupid questions about my car" gees give me a break

 

i thought this was something different when i read the title... But gotta love people like that

 

When you take your car to a show you should anticipate people asking questions about your car...whether you think their questions are 'stupid' or not. If you don't like it then just stay home and play patty whack with yourself.
