I dont think i would have ever joined the site if i hadnt been lurking for a bit and seen how helpful everyone is.

With my last car i was an avid member of the forums and when my sister totalled the car and the forum got taken down i kind of stopped with forums all together. I missed the helpful advice, friendly people, and the ability to have a place to come and vent frustrations or excitement to people that can share the same experience with me.

Thanks guys.

I'm not drunk... 100% sober as I dont drink. I just feel I have yet to show my actual appreciation for everything I have. So, this is my way to open up to all of you. Im not too manly to be a little sappy. I'd hope none of yo are either. (especially when you are already hidden behind a computer screen so nobody will see you cry. Wat I said is no other than what other people seem to feel here. That is atually what makes this forum so different from all the others.

Okay, so I've had one beer tonight too - and I admit it, I'm a hardcore Monte Carloholic. I've learned more in six months from my "car club" than I ever knew about cars during 30 years of driving. It's fun to tell people about the car club I belong to when I'm quoting various fun Monte Facts. And Augi, your post did bring a tear to my eye...just looking at my Monte brings a tear to my eye. Or is that the sun in my eyes when it hits the freshly waxed fender? Excuse me, I have to go visit my Monte - she's alone in the driveway. I guess I AM a Carloholic!!

Before i found MCF i was only a member of 1 forum found MCF and now hell i am a part of probably 10+ forums but MCF is FAMILY, i look forward to come in and see whats going on in everyone's life, reading up on what problems people are having, solutions people come up with and trying to help even tho some times i am COMLEATLY WRONG(Yeah i admit it) but i try,

i have seen many 4th geners come and go becuase this place is primarially 5-7th gen but i have also seen many of them come and go, i do my best to help who ever it is if i think i have an ancer, and i think alot of it is people don't stick around to get to know the members,

i have meet a few members due to chris(MonteCarlo3831) having me go out to indiana for the Monte Nats to detail his car I had a great time and want to do it again, But this time bringing my monte, but thats a way off.. $$$ helps but it's a matter of time
