I will work on the banner for sure, I was just trying to get a basic layout for the site, I hope to have lots of updates for the site, right now i'm trying to find a background, I do like the idea of a slide show, i will look into that also. I didn't want the buttons to be exactly the same but your right, the ones at the bottom are a lot nicer, i will work on that also.

does anyone have any ideas for a background? i'm looking for something red possibly which makes black really easy to read, but something with a nice design.

 

I vote for a plain black, gray, or white background. Less is more and keep it simple haha

 

updated with a gray background, not sure if i like the tone gray i used, looks a little dark but thats the easiest part to change, i found a little glitch with the top buttons, but i changed their style, they're not a similar style to the bottom.

im going to start working on a banner and also a slide show for now to get the home page done first

Lookin' much better. I don't think the gray is too dark, it could be lighter though too.

Your slide show just stops when it's done though. Is there a way to loop it?

 

I was wondering that too, i'm looking into that, I made a banner but i dont like it, it doesn't extend far enough and is a little blurry, I will look into the slideshow and try more on the banner
