I a sitting and relaxing. Justin I love that Monte. I wish two things, first that is was mine and second that it was an aerocoupe.
I got to work on Woody today. I got the fender mounted, the bumper, grille, and headlight trim too. I need to get a radio antenna and then put the inner fender shields and the nose will be complete. Now I have to decide what to do about the messed up woodgrain. The woodgrain vinyl is all dried, faded and cracked. I've got two pieces of NOS woodgrain which will do the front fenders but then the rest of the car will look like crap. I might just paint the wood grain area dark brown. And do it with a brush to try to match the rest. I also need to fix a water leak in the dash some where, a new radio and speakers, finish installing the cruise control and delay wipers.
Alexis is feeling much better. Abby is still needy so she isn't back to 100% yet and she still is a little fevered but she is better than the last two days. I am hoping for a full nights sleep tonight. I got to go back to work at the mousehouse tomorrow.I hope everyone had a good day. Mine wasn't bad.

Keane, That's pretty good you had a warranty on the paint job, I hope it gets back to normal for you! The window issue is not to bad, I could think of a few other issues that would really have me bummed out!

There is a clunking(stutter) noise, not ticking like it could be a cv joint either when I turn right only, it's kinda frustrating because I had 2 mechanics look at it! One said, "he couldn't get to it", meaning it could be in the exhaust and the other at a meineke muffler shop said "it might be a cv joint", but the boots seem to be intact? I don't believe it's a wheel bearing but I kinda don't have any other ideas right now!

You can still have a bad CV joint and have a good boot. It isn't that common but it does happen. That is the hard part about diagnosing noises on a front wheel drive car.

Na its not too bad which is why i havent really bothered getting it fixed. The only time it annoyed me is when i was driving on the highway and it started pooring. The window refused to close all the way and it was raining inside

Thanks, if it is a cv joint, what is the worst case scenario when driving to work on the PA turnpike going 70mph and the CV joint totally f's up?? I was also quoted $180 for the part + install, not sure if that is a bad price or if I could do it myself with "limited" mechanical knowledge and tools, but I do have a haynes manual!.... I know, not really funny but for me to do most anything requires a lot of giddy-up....

I to was a mopar fan! I had a 383 formula s fastback __________, fill in the blank.......

Chris it almost makes me wonder if it isn't a ball joint, control arm bushing or tie rod but then again only on right turns is a wired one, does it do it when the car is parked?
