Well... My work day is coming to an end. I have had the pleasure of working on day shift since I have been here and now it's time for my company to move to evenings. This works out pretty well for me since my oldest daughter is going to be on summer vacation and I will get to spend the mornings with her. It will also work out with my time on the forum because of the lower tempo of the evening shift.

Same here Jerry. We had a couple major rain storms this afternoon. But not as bad as what the news was saying could happen. Weather guy was showing the potential for tornados and hail. So far, just rain (knocks on wood). Hopefully nobody else gets hit with any tornadoes or hail.

We got rain this morning but no storms. Skys aren't looking too good though. Our bad storms last night didn't produce much damage (at least in my area).

That's great to hear Amy. Do any of your cars have to stay outside in the elements? With the threat of hail and damaging winds, what do you usually do?

When there's a threat of hail here, I've often considered making a mad dash to the nearest coin-op car wash. The one's you use the hand held spray wand. And just sitting my car in one of the stalls until the hail passes.

My 05 is outside and my fiance's Mini Cooper stays outside. We have car covers to protect against any hail damage. Luckily we haven't been hit with any bad hail storms in years.

My garage only holds one so my truck and her Impala are hoping for the best.

So far, I've only had one hail storm while owning the Monte. (knocking on wood again) And that one happened while I was driving. I had nowhere to go and hide the Monte underneath a roof of any kind. Every hit of a hail stone on my car made me cringe. I was imagining how the hood and trunk lid would have to be replaced. And wondering how much the roof would cost me to fix; and hoping the sunroof doesn't shatter on me. It was a tough time for me financially too. Did some praying, and thankfully the car came out okay. But that experience just confirmed how much I need a garage in my next home.
