I know, I've got a couple before and I've seen others on here have also.... They are offering "in most cases, thousands over fair marker book values"....

And I'm sure they wouldn't want mine with the few mods I have done to it....

My dad got a letter like that once and then a phone call from the sales manager. They wanted his Buick park avenue and paid him about 5 grand more then he paid for it. Most times its just a sales pitch tho.

Evening all! Been busy at my house this weekend. The guy my fiance details cars for needed him to get 3 cars ready cause he's bringing them to the huge Mecum Auction in Indy this weekend! I would love to see them go across the block - one is an orange GTO Ram Air IV car - I think it's a 69.

Good evening everyone. It's been a busy day for me. I got up at 6:15 this morning. I can't remember the last time I got up that early. I had jury duty this morning. I had to report at 8:05 but didn't know how long it would take to get there. I was half an hour early. They went thru a bunch of BS telling us what we could and couldn't do and told us how important we are and that we don't get paid for our time or inconvienence. Thankfully I was dismissed by eleven and was told I wasn't needed. I was thankful. I decided on the way back from the court house I would get my tires rotated on the 95 Town & Country. As I pulled into the parking spot at Tire Kingdom I felt and heard a pop in the front end. I knew I had worn inner tie rod ends so I figured it was that. Got the tires rotated as I wanted and then I left. As I was driving home the steering started binding while making a right turn. I decided to go home and get the tie rod ends I had bought and figured I'd go back and have them installed. I then thought the van has 189,000 miles so I should replace the outer tie rod ends too. As I'm driving to Autozone to get the tie rod ends the steering is binding more and now it is binding on a left turn as well. I thought now that if feels rack the rack went to hell so I got that as well at Autozone. As I'm driving back to Tire Kingdom I loose the power assist and now I can smell gear oil. They put the van on the lift and the rack housing broke in half. I've never seen such a thing. I'm glad it broke on my so called day off and that I had not spent my tax refund yet. This was something totally unexpected. I need to change out the timing chain and gears soon too so that doesn't fail on me. I'm needing tires too. I want to put 16" wheels and tires on it replacing the 15's it has now and then a paint job. After that it should be good for another 100,000 miles. I own it so if I spend another three thousand on it and get two more years then I think it is money well spent.
