well looks like i'll be doing some towing tonight... my sis other car is toast too..... god she is good at killing cars... so gatta get it outa my dad's/bro's work and to my parents house and on c list i'll probably email the same guy that picked up the taurus!

Mine is doing the same thing. Most likely the sensor has been gunked up and not working well. If your levels are fine I wouldn't worry about it, you can actually unplug it and the light should stop coming on lol.

 

Gotta get outside and mow the lawn now. Before it gets super hot. Got company coming late this afternoon and the yard looks bad.

I was wondering if I could just unplug it. May have to do that if I don't get it fixed before our drive up to MI this weekend. The 'ding ding ding' and idiot light coming on repeatedly is annoying enough just driving around town.

My next steps are to (1) clean the sensor or (2) replace the sensor - even though it's new.

I accidentally got some dielectric grease on the sensor prior to install. I wiped it clean, but didn't think to give it a good cleaning with something like electrical contact cleaner. If that doesn't work, I'll return it for a new sensor. It's under warranty and worth a try.

Hello Everyone! Happy Monday!! We had another bad storm w/hail here in KC area this AM. It cleared off & now it's beautiful !! ?? Good grief !!

And... We almost got hit by an Asteroid ? Whaaat ??
