Evening everyone!

Just to clarify something. My dad came home from his latest stay at the hospital on Friday. But he's been going through a rough time with both, his health, and moving to a new home with me. He's been in his old house for 50+ years. It used to be my grandmother's house. So he lived there as a kid, and bought the house when she passed on. So this move has been very hard for him. But it's just time to move on. The old neighborhood is over-run with crime. And nobody owns their houses anymore. The houses are all rental units now, so you never get to know your neighbors. They move in and out too fast.

This new neighborhood is a more family oriented area, and the houses are younger. Which was also an issue. The old home was 97 years old, and turning into a money pit. I decided with the neighborhood being what it is, it's time to move on to a home that will be more enjoyable.

Plus... (and this is important obviously), my Monte has a garage to protect it for the first time since I've owned it!

Thanks Tadd - I didn't have to stop for anything so I got to my Dad's house no problem. It also started right up after sitting for about an hour. I got kinda worried cause my stupid GPS directed me to go on 90-the Skyway so I had to drive through the horrendous Chicago traffic GRRRRRR!!!!!

Evening all, today was a chill at the campground kind of day. Ran to the store early and spend the rest of the day here. I'm going to TRY to share some pictures with you, hopefully this works without too many attempts. Did a sauna today, man that was hot, 196 degrees

First one, before we left heres the montes together for their week long vacation

Next up, heres a shot of everything set up, stopped at a rest area.

Stuck tractor trailer this morning

Then this intersection, just a few too many traffic lights

And lastly, the lodge here. I love this place and would love a house like it. Nice peaked/arched ceilings, nice wood work and a loft on either side that looks down to an open hall type area. Lowest level actually has an indoor pool/hot tubs and more
