Good morning all!
As you can see that heavy rain still moving off the Eastern coast!
Behind it is some chilly temps, with some snow firing off In Kansas.
Also a new system moving into the Pacific Northwest bringing some rain/snow depending on elevation.
Some Light Lake Effect snow is also going for the Great Lakes states.
Current radar

We weren't supposed to get power pack till 12/28 It came back on 4:30am this morning!! I went outside to put more gas in the generator and the street lights where on! Sure enough our house had power back!
I am one truly thankful dude right now!

Good morning guys.
Tadd, glad to hear the power is back on. Amanda just told me they currently don't have tv, internet, or phone in Grand Rapids.
Not much snow on the ground here anymore but it looks like we're getting some snow showers today and tomorrow, then a clipper system moving through Tuesday night into Christmas day with somewhere around 1" of snowfall. Northern Michigan got hit with heavy snowfall yesterday. Our cabin up North has about 14"-16" of snow on the ground; ice on the lake is 10"+ thick.
Some current snow cover totals in Northern Michigan:
Big Bay 27"
Calumet 27"
******* 22"
Goetzville 18"
Grand Marais 22"
Hessel 18"
Honor 16"
Interlochen 19"
Mancelona 18"
Manistique 6"
National Mine 16"
Negaunee 19"
Newberry 14"
Schoolcraft 14"
