Congrats Nighthawk, love your car, I wish I could still find those headlights on EBAy, my last set had broken and I had to go back to OEM

IM BACK, for an undetermined amount of time to be unannounced to the public at which time youll notice I'm not here for a while.

I was a bit depressed with Eleanor over the last few weeks because of the cancer and the fuel pump being not so well installed.

I had to drop the gas tank AGAIN this past weekend to change the O-ring on the fuel pump because every time I refilled the tank, it would spew out of the top. (Imagine if someone threw a cig out the window on the interstate)

fixed that problem, CEL is now gone (I had that since I bought the car)
then I had my body guy weld up some sheet metal where the holes are, sprayed rust-o-leum and undercoat on them... another crisis averted.

how was everyone elses weekend?

Took a trip from 60634 to 50112 today (4 hours one way according to my navigation) took me a total of 4:15 total round trip. Though I went through 4 full tanks of gas in my m5. I'll leave the average driving mph to your imagination.... LoL. Thankfully not a single cop was present during the entire trip.

Ps. I'm not counting the time I needed to take off per fill up, purely just driving time.

By chance...
Did you happen to take any before and after pics?
Mine are just showing signs of rust... and not quite sure what to do about it... Thinking about using some PORs 15 on it... I just figure since you have experienced this first hand... maybe you could throw me some pointers?
Thanks!

I plan to keep her as long as the lord intends me to do so. as I have said numerous times, I love this car and cant wrap my head around the thought of letting her go just yet.

I am glad you don't plan on getting rid of her just yet. Your Monte always looked good especially with those 18s.

^^ thank you, I need to work on the 18s, they have some stains on them that seem to be under the finish. I just don't yet know how I'm going to go about it.

may need to just take them to be refinished and go without driving her for a bit.
