Good morning everyone!
We are vacationing in Blowing Rock, NC. We took the kids to Tweetsie Railroad yesterday, that was fun. They still have a couple of fully functional steam engines. I enjoy watching a steam engine pull a train.
We are headed out to Grandfather Mountain and the Blowing Rock today.

Back to the Grind. I had a great weekend with the wife and youngest son. when we go out we don't take the Monte Carlo, he's 6"3, 260 lbs and getting in the back seat is a challenge for him. But we did wash and wax all three cars this weekend he was a big help.
Still working on getting the house. The VA is holding us up, the appraiser hasn't contacted my agent yet. hopefully today.

Happy Monday and its our sons first day back to school wow 8th grade already. Well its so hot down here I had to be out there at 7.30 this morning to mow the grass and by 9 am this morning it was already 90 degrees. Time to spend the rest of the day in the A/C.

Good evening every one.
One of my buddies at Shaheen chevy posted a picture of the Deuce up on the hoist and tagged me on it. Shows the old trannie out and the new one in a part tub next to the stall
How many car dealers would do that for you? Probably NONE
Well we pick up some additions to the family on Wednesday from the county animal shelter. more about that later
Have a good evening every one!

Hey everyone!
I know you gotta be careful what you wish for. But we could use a little rain around here. So far this year, we seem to be getting all or nothing. When we get rain, we get damn near flooding levels of rain. But the past 3 weeks or so have been extremely dry except for one day of absolute down pour about 2 weeks ago.
On the bright side, I've only had to cut the grass once in the past month. And the temps have been nice the last couple weeks.
So far my Monte is running well. The tranny is shifting smooth again. And no starting issues. (knocking on wood) Which means I'm probably due for some kind of problem.
