Space , That looks like the one my son bought , His has a bad repair job on the hood where it was cracked ..., The sellers wanted to put it on craigslist for $350 , I told them my son will give you $250 so you don't have alot of people coming to house and try talk you down..

 

Mornin guys. Guess it's time to get dressed and call the tow truck so I can get the truck put back together. I still can't believe that stud broke off.

Yes, in todays world one has to be very careful/cautious on having strangers come to their homes to look at items for sale...Sadly, there are many desperate people out there Now, I think your son should cut your lawn for a year "NO" 4 Life

Sorry to read about your problem + expense...Sometimes (many times) life just keeps testing `us to see how strong we are & how much we can take I know, enough is enough

morning everyone, sunny 50's and windy once again. Going to the john deere dealer today to pick up stuff and price parts for our mower. We have a mower just like that one jerry except its an LX277 with all wheel steering. Its in rather rough shape but it still runs good for such minimal maintenance we've done on it. Like space said, JD makes a great product.

 

nice mower Jerry I would look around the net and see if you can find a new hood for it. I think they are about 200 on ebay. Just sitting here enjoying the last day of spring break, it's back to running my son to school tomorrow.
We had a nice day at my wifes aunts yesterday and a nice meal.
