Goodmorning all...
I just inherited a large collection of Snap On tools from the 70's and 80's. They were my grandpa's and they are well used to there is some surface rust and such and I am wanting to clean them up. (The ratchets are beyond repair, so they will be replaced by warranty I believe)
What method do you guys thing could work the best? I was considering soaking all of the sockets and wrenches in degreaser followed by a 50/50 white vinegar/water mix. Then spraying them all down with WD40 and cleaning them up just to keep them reasonably nice.
Any ideas?

Good Morning `Tom & Good Luck on passing your inspection + finding a buyer that has the funds to have some fun in your Super Super Monte Carlo
https://montecarloforum.com/forum/pr...arlo-ss-50103/
Above For Sale Link of Tom's S.S.
Good News! It's Certified without needing a thing.
Just the charge for the safety inspection.
Plus got it E-Tested and passed that too.
It really runs too good to be 8 years old, but I took good care of her. I hope the next owner takes care of her as well.
I have it listed on AutoTrader.ca
And thank you space for the Ajax link, I drive by that sign all the time. We're just down the road from the Oshawa GM plant where the Monte's were made.

Good evening everyone
Had a rough day at work today, one of the other supervisors was let go and walked out the front door, no one saw it coming, although I think she is secretly happy as she wasn't truly happy in her job, so we are all being super supportive for her and trying to help her find a new job. Still rather humbling as we never saw it coming.
Other than that, apparently it was a beautiful day outside although I didn't see much of it lol, spent the afternoon orientating some new hire's and trying my best to be funny and keep it entertaining considering the circumstances. I don't like our orientation process as I find they put too much information at them in too short a time, so I like to try and make it as fun and relaxing as possible, plus they get a chance to see that the supervisors are just regular people as well
Hope everyone enjoys their day
