Hi `Ken,
It was good 2 read the good news & that the trio is work'in out & earning U some $'s to help U pay 4 auto repairs ..Better a cracked coil >, then a cracked Block >>> 4-Sure...Sometimes, many times we have to search for the positives in life vs the negatives.

so easy to post a quote, but not always so easy to apply

Wish you Good Luck `Ken

Thanks Mike, I usually always try to stay positive as it usually helps. It could have been much worse and better to find the problems and fix them before it gets worse. I'm just glad it wasn't the wife out in the car as she works an hour from our house, so it could have been much worse.

I hope you have a good day

Hi `Ken, I've noticed that you are a positive thinking man from reading your posts/words, but sometimes it's great to have a place/outlet to sound `off when you have a bad day 4>Sure. That's what's great about our MCF Blog. It's not always good news, but when it's bad there always seems to be a member to lift you up so you don't fall all the way in2 the gutter

Sorry, `Ken>there goes your 300 game O `No...Now, get up & try again > (r U giving me a finger) ?

Evening all, called to make an appointment for the monte today and the shop said bring it up. So i ended up making the 2 hour trip up which was fine, ran into snow coming back though so it took a while. They already made a stock run on the dyno and i was a bit impressed as it had a bit more power than i was expecting.

Buick full of snow, new tires grip good though

Good Evening MCF. Wow what a day work. We got about 4" of snow and ice. Nasty stuff!

Hey Ken sorry your car is under the weather, I hope it is a cheap fix.

Keane what kind of work did you do to your Monte?

Nothing yet, that dyno run was how it currently sits with just a cold air intake and minor exhaust work. Getting a plog, ceramic coated crossover and 3" downpipe installed. As well as some gauges, a smaller supercharger pulley and then a dyno tune to wrap it all up. Should have it back before the week is over.

ACCUWEATHER ALERT: SNOW CHANGING OVER TO RAIN

EMBED

Updated 57 mins ago
NEW YORK (WABC) --
The bitter cold that gripped the Tri-State area over the weekend is on its way out, but snow is moving in Monday afternoon that will make roads slippery for the evening commute.

Meteorologist Bill Evans says the snow will amount to about an inch in and around New York City before changing over to rain later Monday night.

Accumulations could reach 1 to 3 inches in areas north and west.

A winter weather advisory is in effect for most of the Tri-State area until midnight.

As of noon, there were delays of 2 1/2 hours at LaGuardia Airport, and nearly 4 hours at Newark Liberty Airport.

Freezing rain is expected to change over around midnight to rain only, which will continue throughout the day on Tuesday. The rain will be heavy at times, leading to the possibility of localized flooding in poor drainage areas.

Temperatures on Tuesday will rise to the mid 50's, a far cry from Sunday morning when the Tri-State area woke up to record cold as the temperature dropped to 1 degree below zero, making it the coldest Valentine's Day in 100 years.

It was also the coldest day since January 1994.

Here's a look at the AccuWeather forecast for the next few days:

Monday: High 36 | Low 35 - Late snowflakes
Tuesday: High 55 | Low 37 - Breezy and Rainy
Wednesday: High 48 | Low 31 - Mostly Cloudy
Thursday: High 41 | Low 27 - Colder Sunshine
Friday: High 42 | Low 39 - Sun and Clods
