I have no idea how much we are going to get but I hope it's enough to go skiing!

Wisconsin is going to be one of the hardest hit states

My Mom's home is very close the west border. Usually when I'm describing the area to people I just say Minneapolis, St. Paul area

Were in the 2-4" range now I see.. There was already a fair amount of snow though. Just enough to make everything white again

I put a red dot around where I'm located... Almost missed us

This is an Extremely strong storm system and it is strengthening as it moves across the country. There is even Thunder snow in this storm and a lot of it! It looks to be moving off to the north east still, places north of Chicago will be mostly heavy snow for tomorrow and places south very heavy rain. It should move off towards Toronto tomorrow night so our Canadian friends get ready for it as well!
After this whole mess moves off to the east some major lake effect snow will hit Michigan, New york, Ohio, parts of western PA! If you wanted a white xmas in the northern US, you got it!

Southern states are having some major thunderstorms out of this, Tornado watches and a few Warning are up Alabama/Mississippi. That will also move east with some big rain and T-storms!

After this moves through your area Temps will cool way down!! Very cold in the Mid-west states!!

Everyone stay safe!

I got spoiled last winter. Didn't really have to shovel much of anything. In a way, I'm kinda hoping this winter is the same. I hate having to shovel. Because of all the extra sidewalk I have, and the two car driveway. I'm on the southeast corner of an intersection. Which means the wind naturally blows all the **** at my house.
