Goooooood morning MCF fans. Last night, not so great a night for me. But I have faith that the rest of this week will be better. As always I am in pursuit of the bigger better deal, and still on the lookout for some parts for my monte. I want to get some simple things right now, like an STB, maybe some ventshades, and a touchup pen to fix all the damn rock chips in her hood and fenders.

I still have a shimmy in my front end at about 60 +, tires are all balanced and alignment is within spec. I just had my tierod replaced that was bad, and they tightened up the two inners that were spinning around dangerously. Nice to know I could have quite possibly been in an accident thanks to that!! So I think I need to take it elsewhere for a second (third? fourth maybe?) opinion. I also feel the vibration in my seat... so i'm assuming it could be coming from the back... wonder where? My rotors aren't warped... and none of my wheels are bent, but maybe those two old tires on the back have a lot to do with it, I could have a flat spot on one of them due to the car sitting for 7 months with a bad transmission in a dirt field covered by a pine tree....

 

 

 

Morning all, pretty much the same old story down here. Just pluggin' away looking foreard to the long weekend.

You get to realizing just how boring your life is at time like these... sitting trying to think of anything thats newsworthy on your end. And it just isn't happening! Oh well hopefully this long weekend the vehicles will finally get that long deserved wash and wax. Hope you all have a great day.

Good Morning Everyone!

Well, I didnt make it to bed half as early as last night, nor did I get half as much sleep as the night before, so i'm kinda running on empty as far as sleep.....and i don't think i'll be coming to work late tomorrow like usual Thursadays now...I think i'm going to come in at 5:30am Thurs too so I can leave earlier...But thats a good thing! My cousin and the baby are coming into town today from Vegas, and leaving Tuesday! So as usual I am really excited to see them!

Space...actually school seems to be going well so far. I'm really liking this light load of only 7 units! WOW, what a difference from 18 units...The class I have on Tuesdays is soooooooo boring, its a good thing I don't have a laptop, or else i'd probably be on the MCF, and not listening at all...but even when I try and pay attention, that guy is just so boring it practically puts me to sleep...LOL. Gotta have at least one every semester I guess! haha. But yea, I can't wait to be out of there, thats for sure! 3.5 more months! woohooo. I am not going directly into a masters program. I don't think I will go on for my masters, but i've kept the door open, just incase I change my mind as time moves on...We shall see...

Something has been bothering me. I think you already have an STB... Why are you always on the look-out for one? Is it a rear STB that you want?

Anyway, I just got into work like 1.5 hours ago. My MacBook has been running really slow lately, so I decided to take my time at work and do a little optimization. I didn't realize that my harddrive was so full, which completely effects the virtual memory of a Mac and makes it run super slow. So I cleaned up my HDD and did a full OnyX optimization. I feel so motivated to do stuff now that my computer is back up to speed.

Space, why do you have to assume I ALWAYS have something to do? HUH HUH?

So this Friday I'm going to a BBQ for my friends because they are getting married Saturday... which means Saturday I'll be going to a wedding! and then afterwards we are all going to Dave & Buster's (think chuck-e-cheez for adults) and I'll probably stay out until 1-2am.

Sunday the g/f and I may head down to Ocean City NJ for the night, however with her in Grad school if she needs the time to study we may cancel that, and if that's the case I'll probably go ahead and get my tuning done So I can't really decide WHICH plans I want to have (but don't tell her I said that!!)

And then Monday I'll be back to... WAIT! IT'S LABOR DAY!!!! woooo!!!! 3-day weekend!!! :P

If I'm not in Ocean city i'll probably just play with my tuned Monte

But yea I went and looked at Robyn's pics, and she does havea STB bar...is that aftermarket, or did the 2000's have a STB bar stock?
