Whats up everyone. Just got a chance to log on now. Been a busy morning for me.
I stopped at a shop that everyone here in town sez is a great shop and they can do anything i want to the MC. So i stopped and asked them about dropping an L67 in it and he flat out told me NO. He said that he only wants to work on R+R (remove and replace). He said that IF, and that was a HUGE IF, he would do it, it would be about 4K in labor alone. But he would not be able to programm the PCM.
Needless to say i walked out.
Between what happened yesterday with the gauges and today, it really seams to be hitting home how people just dont give a crap about the 5th Gen.
I better stop. I just really angry right now and i dont want to loose my temper.

Thanks Space, seeing that Anime made me feel better. It actually gave me a laugh.
I guess what i might do is rent me a storage and see about doing the work myself. I even get me a beater to use while i'm working on it.
Or i might go crazy and drop the body on a RWD frame.

Whats up everyone?
Been a BUSY morning so far for me...dropped the Monte off EARLY this morning to get the trunk repainted and new spoiler installed....
Already took a trip to Hayward and back for a client...(2.5 hours round trip) and phones have been ringing off the hook this morning.....but I got a new client today!

jj, i gotta ask, what happened with the gauges?
it sucks that no one really seems to give 5th gens any respect, i feel your pain, lol.
any 5th gen i see is used, abused, and trashed, which is a shame.
i have an older issue of hot- rod where someone bought a bush-cup nascar 5th gen that never actully ran in the races. the guy put in all the lights & such to make it legal, and now goes to the store in the 600 + HP monster.
as for me, my damn tractor just died again
at this point, im about ready to just set the lawn on fire and be done with it, lol.

Hi everyone! Got home from work and now I'm doing laundry - exciting! I forgot to add that my new Evolution 4 car cover came today! Too bad I can't put it on the car cause it's going to rain again.
