Unfortunately, I wasn't always an example anyone should follow. But since I made major changes in my attitude/life, I am a much better one. Perfect?? Oh heck no!! But the universe no longer revolves around me and each new day is a gift!!

I see so many in life that let the negatives win & drag them down It's not easy being positive all the time & it takes time & dedication like everything that's good in life. I fight the bad in my mind everyday & do my best not to let the bad win 4>Sure...

Afternoon everyone, spent the morning changing the drivers side wheel bearing in the wife's monte, figure I should keep it in top shape as we are not sure where she will be working. Although I believe she may have a job with Corrections Canada, which will be nice but at the same time, when we used to work in the jail, we didn't overly like it that much, but at this point anything is better than nothing.

Sorry to read about your loss & also that your wife lost her job I hope that her new position is more rewarding & more stable then the last.

You had a good run in the MOTM contest...I'm sure that you will be back in it again soon. Like life, you get knocked down & you will never win unless U get back up again and keep trying.

Thanks BBMike, I'm kinda getting used to always being the bridesmaid and never the bride lol, but it's all good, I own two beautfiul monte's, well one I let my wife think she owns but as far as the rest of life goes, we will survive and hopefully come out better people.

Good evening everyone!! The weather was in the 40's today so I got so much done!! Took my neighbor everywhere he needed to go then came home and worked on the Montes the rest of the day. Replaced both headlights on the 02 this afternoon finally! Once that was done, I did a wash and wax and interior detail on her. Took the cover off the 84 and fired her up today and went for a little drive. Then I installed my racing seat cover and RJS racing harness. While I was in and out of the car doing that, I cleaned up the new single plane intake I swapped with someone for my dual plane and got that primered up and painted. Will paint the lettering on it tonight while in the house (if I don't fall asleep first...LOL). Also need to research wiring up my electric fan, relay, and toggle. Yikes, I don't know about electrical stuff but I guess I am about to learn!! LOL

BBMike- Well I went from negative to positive with a lot of very hard work on myself. I really did "have it all" (excellent career, kids, new car, husband, house, money in the bank, etc) but I took everything for granted and was a very high functioning alcoholic. Due to some very unhealthy decisions, one day it was ALL gone. I got in trouble and life as I knew it was GONE instantly!! Once I stopped blaming everyone else for all the bad things that happened to me and realized that I had brought ALL of it upon myself, that is when I changed my attitude and stopped drinking. Once I did that and stopped taking anything for granted, I started my slow rise from "rock bottom". I am most definitely a re-work in progress!! Or I like to see it as a "frame up restoration"!! Wow this post turned into a novel
