I just got back from the Monte meet in Elgin a few hours ago! It was a fun day and Wayne took lots of pics. I guess he was the official photographer for the day. I got home and there was this guy talking to my Fiance - I guess the storms we had a couple of days ago did damage to our house, so I think we are going to get the roof replaced and the siding fixed through insurance! That is a big score because in a couple of years we will need a new roof and it would probably cost $11,000 . So the roofer is going to come back tomorrow and show us some shingle samples, then he will meet with the insurance adjuster.

Hello all. Yes, I took over 140 pic's. Had a great time. LadyT rode with me for the 3 hr drive. She said she had an unexpectedly great time! It was good seeing some of my MCF friends, and some from the other forums, also. Would'a been nice to have a better turnout. I was hoping the turnout would be better than last year, but instead it was half or less. Kinda disapointed in all the Chitown MCF'rs that didn't show. 2/3 to 3/4 of those signed up backed out. I drove 3 hrs to meet some friends, and those less than half an hour didn't show. 
I will sort thru the pics and start posting either later tonight or tomorrow am in the met and greet section.
Again, a BIG thanks goes out to Cort for setting this up, and to Amy, Scott, Ryan, and ALL the others for making this meet a success, even if it was small.

If I didnt live 1,000's of miles away I would have went for sure! But of course i'd just be looking since my Monte is injured and being fixed right now..LOL

whlep, i figured i would let everyone know imma gonna be in new york city next week as a lil cheepie " out of the house" vacation thingie, so im not gonna be on as often, just figured id let everyone know!
wayne & amy, it looks like it was a blast, i wish i coulda gone, but thats quite a haul for me, lol. not as bad as mike would have, but long. good news is, the week after next week, a friend is gonna come and help sort out the issues with my monte, plus we might do a preformance tune & i might get a full custom made exaust outta the deal! WOOOO!!!!
well, i hope everyone has a good night / morning in 10 minutes.... 9 now, lol.

no weed kill tonight? i'm down to drinking cans of bud, sucks, but it works to cure the pain! what should i do, stay up all nite and watch e-bay or go to bed before the auction ends on a 5th gen monte!! i'm getting tired!! and i may have have posted some stupid stuff tonight but that is the beer talking and maybe me, sorry, please forgive me, for i have tainted the the monte carlo forum? btw, sub titles suck on movies, hmm, might just be seeing things, see you all tomorrow!!
