the dilemma is that I want to go ahead and do the entire intake mod, but I think im gonna have to settle for just the new manifold and gasket.

I was at a conference all day. No internet connection. Same thing tomorrow. Death by briefing... Got to see some friends from the past, though. That was cool.
I posted a plea for help in the 'General Tech' section entitled 'Radiator Leak - Little Help Please'. If you know much about the MC radiator, please take a look. Thanks.
Ooooh... tough call, Dustin. If the ring is important (generally is), I'd say do what you need to on the car, save the full intake mod's for later. Gotta set priorities, right?

I have a bit of a dilemma.
my tax return is coming in on the 4th of march, I have thought about buying my g/f a ring (cough cough) with it, but my car is deciding for me to spend money on it. My intake manifold has a leak somewhere on the pass side... I know this because there is a small pool of antifreeze there just winking at me. I have always told myself that if replacing the intake manifold gasket, id just go ahead and do the hv3 mod and metal intake manifold as well just to save me the headache of the egr problem later... trouble is that would take my whole tax return to do... I have a headache now.
