Morning all, sunny outside and supposed to be 65. I am going to have to find something to do to enjoy the nice weather. Back to student teaching next week.

What type of certification does a person need ?
Maybe we have a member that is certified & needs a `Job ?
One never knows ?
It is a Certificate from the State of Indiana for a Certified Asphalt Technician. I wish there was someone on here who had that qualification, they would definately have a shot at a union scale job. Any other states would also be a good start. We do all the design and quality control of asphalt mixes. I do not work on the road, rather in a lab running tests on the mixes being placed. They send in samples from the road and I also get them out of the dump trucks as they leave.
Any takers?

I used to have a similar job with mostly concrete and a little asphalt mixed in now and then. Which company is it? I used to inspect for PSI.

Mod Mike, lets hope this leads to good things for you.

Dustin, the toothaches are completely gone, but I still need to get two teeth pulled in a couple of weeks. They kicked me out of the dentist chair after 6 hours and all of the Novocain they can administer in one sitting. One tooth wouldn't go numb so they had to inject it into the cavity in the tooth. Ouch. Only used 1 vicodin the entire time so I still have those.
