I like all the people with 4WD that blow by me at high speeds & then they have to stop it
or slow down & can't. I don't have to prove anything to anyone. Not worth driving fast on snow-packed roads/ice ! I stay in slow lane & let 'em go by... LOL!

I know how you feel, Space. I'm only 2 hours from Talladega yet have never been there for a race. I got to camp on the infield one night with Cub Scouts when my son was younger, though! Even got to walk on the track in front of stands. Amazing how steep that bank is.

You bet! Had it out a few weeks ago for a short ride to ensure all was well.

I learned a long time ago to appreciate the little things in life. No matter what you might think, you're never really in control. Life has a way of driving that point home when least expected. I greatly appreciate the simple joy of riding. Can't think of a better way to take the blahhhh's out of a morning / evening commute. Most others are just plodding along getting from Point A to Point B. I'm having a great time. My wallet appreciates riding weather as well. The bike is cheap to operate / maintain, getting 50 MPG instead of 14 (in my old car).

I know im not the greatest driver in the world, but I know how to correct a skid on ice... when I know its ice.

The biggest problem everyone actually had was that they were going high speeds... driving like its a clear sunny day. Im not going over 20 on ice... im not that dumb.
You wouldn't believe the number of cars / trucks (including 4WD) in ditches and highway medians yesterday. Unbelievable! I didn't venture out 'til afternoon after hearing all the accident reports. People just don't get it around here; you gotta respect ice on the road. And ice doesn't care whether you're in a 4WD or not. Learned that the hard way in MI as a kid.

Glad you avoided the idiots.

Afternoon everyone!

Wow. Those headrests and center console came out really nice!

Still really cold here. I hate winter.

Why don't I move somewhere warmer? Because I hate the heat too. Can't breathe, sweating all the time. I want to live in a mall. Where the temperature is always the same.:p

It's going to be above freezing this weekend! That is good and bad news - good that I can wash the Monte - bad = the snow will start to melt and mix with the salt already on the road equaling a dirty Monte again
