I tell you guys this because you are like family... im stressing right now. I don't usually stress about stuff like this, but its pretty bad.

My g/fs mom is making her pay her$ 70 we don't have because she's paying her health insurance. My gf is cleaning her house to pay this money off,so I have no clue as to why she's making her pay this money.

I just got paid, had to put gas in my tank, and haven't gone grocery shopping yet and have$ 20 for the next two weeks... im actually more mad than stressed...

Evening all!

Todd, great to hear the progress.

Dustin, I don't know what to tell you. I wish I had an answer for you. It sounds like her mom is holding the health insurance over your g/f's head. If that's the case, she'll probably continue to do it as long as she can get away with it.

Dustin, let me make sure I understood that. She is cleaning the house and paying her back? If I was you I would encourage your g/f to ask why both if the agreement was to clean the house for the money. I can see why you would be mad and frustrated.

I do encourage her, but she consistantly stands up for her mom. I think she's afraid of her... everything her mom pays for is her health insurance and car insurance. She goes to clean her moms house twice a week. She works as a substitue teacher and due to snow days and interviews, she hasn't been able to work much these past few weeks.
Her mom has always ruled with an iron fist over the whole family, she divorced her husband of 30 years two weeks ago because she didn't feel for him as she did before, that's the entire reason I moved my gf out of the house in the first place.

Her sister has pretty much stopped talking to their mom since the divorce, she's the pnly one who still communicates with her.
I keep encouraging her to try for tenncare. Its not much (govt healthcare) but at least its something.

Man that sucks. I have no health insurance this year as well since I am subbing. Keep supporting her and come vent here when needed.
