I got back from the interview a couple of hours ago and I think it went well. It's the same type of work I did on my Temp job (which I loved BTW). I just have to wait and see if I get called back for a 2nd interview. Health benefits, which includes dental and vision, start right away which is totally awesome, no 3 month waiting period. I am also immediately eligible to participate in the 401k plan on date of hire. They also contribute a percentage.

 

I cant believe i made it back on-line.

i got my car to the shop this morning and they called me earlier and let me know everything is done - the vinyl decal completed, the headlight replaced, steering wheel buttons fixed, and scratches buffed out. they even put on the kickass windshield decal JJ made for me (ok i know jj, it was like two months ago. i'm a slacker. so sue me ) i don't think i mentioned it here, so i'll take pics and post when i get the car back in the morning. it's very cool!

my rental car is an 08 aveo (hatchback even). the most base of base models. i feel so weird driving it. it's got manual window cranks!! i haven't had manual windows in like 8 years LOL! despite the lack of creature comforts though, it is pretty nimble. on the way to work from the body shop this morning i got it to 90 on the highway and only slowed down for traffic (and mass amounts of cops due to a bunch of random construction). i just can't wait to get my car back in 100% condition, finally!!

 

Jamie, i was wondering what ever happened to that windshield decal. LOL.

Be honest. You want to trade in Tony for an Aveo.

the aveo in the hatchback body style reminds me of driving a giant roller skate.
