Space, you must have that blue 1st gen on the brain. Is that your current "Dream Monte"?
I'm off to doing some yard work at the Church this morning, getting ready for the 1st mowing, which another Trustee is doing. We got several acres we mow, including the parsonage, ball field ,and picnic grounds. Then I get to come home and do more yard work here. I'll make sure I get done in plenty of time to relax and watch the Richmond race tonight, though. GO HARVICK!

Hi `Wayne, I have so many Monte Carlo + dreams in my head that I'm sure it's gona Explode
lol`Dreams keeps me motivated.

When I was at KVCC last week for some advising, and to meet with the CIS department head, I parked my Intimidator SS way out, as usual. When I came out, there was a gold 6th gen parked right next to mine, and the owner was doing a walk around on my car , taking pics with his cell phone. He has admirerers everywhere! He said he wanted to buy an Intimidator SS, but finances got him in that one, and it was a good looking Monte.
I THINK I have a shot at getting a job with the State. A support job. Same building LadyT works in. Slghtly different hours, but instead of an hour drive, it's only 15 minutes. I'd be responsible for the maintenance and support of all the equipment and the State car fleet there, along with purchasing and maintaining all the supplies for the building. All electronics would be my responsibility to maintain, or get support from DIT on. That would not only include computers and related periferals, but telephones, fax machines, copiers, etc. Along with software support and security of EVERYTHING, including the computers and the building.
It feels like God is heading me there. I hope it's not just a dream. But TOO MANY things are lining up and falling into place. The position opening closed yesterday, so the interviews will start this week, hopefully, if Madam Govanator doesn't pull the plug this week, and initiate a hiring freeze.
Gotta have dreams, Space. Mine is to just finish out my career close to home, and get a Bachelor's Degree before I retire. Just to prove to myself that I'm not just a "one semester wonder"!
I have 25 credits, some of which will transfer. Calculus, accounting, and PE should, chemistry and probability and statistics maybe, but paper science and CAD/CAM probably won't qualify for anything. The technical communications class isn't qualifying for anything, but I'm going to try to take the CLEP test on English, with the help of some CLEP study books.

Wayne good luck on your potential job interview. I wish things were that easy for me. I been trying to get an interview for this printer for 4 weeks now. I am working with a head hunter and I feel like I am getting the run around. Monday I will start looking for retail jobs (which I despise).
