Good morning everyone, or almost afternoon...actually it is afternoon for most of you already!

I was a bum this morning and just woke up like 45 min ago...which was 10:45 here...I needed the sleep though!

I'm not doing much today, just bumin around the house, doing some laundry, and I got to make my schedule for next semester today. My day to register is Tuesday, but since I had that whole fiasco with the Incomplete in that one class, I have to turn my wanted schedule into advising tomorrow so that the business advisor can manually schedule me for one of my classes. He has to do this because the class that my teacher screwed up in and gave me the incomplete happens to be a prerequisite for one of the classes I need to take this semester! But at least advising is hopefully going to get it all ironed out for me!

JJ, I'm not going to the Nat's. It's a hike, and we are going to the Smokey's in august to run the Tail of the Dragon for a few days with the Kappa group. I'm hoping to do 2 more shows/meets this year, the one at MIS, and the one the following week at Elgin. The following week we go the run the Dragon. 3 busy weeks in a row.

Two weeks from today is Father's day, and I'm gone that weekend to see my Mom & Dad (90 & 92), and next weekend is the races at MIS, trucks Sat', and the cup cars Sunday. We got VIP tickets to meet Dale Jr. before the race next week, and we're looking forward to that. Busy summer ahead.

 

WOW Wayne...that great! Good for them! Your very lucky to still have your parents around at that age!

 

Well, I got back from the car show around 2pm. Very poor turnout because the weather was iffy. It was at the new Lake county IL fairgrounds and was poorly organized. I had to drive through the swap meet to get to where the judged cars were - ridiculous! I woudn't begin to imagine if the weather was nice where they would put all of the show cars. Well, anyway I took 1st place, not too much competition.
