gotcha. i hated getting paid every 2 weeks, i could never make it last!! my last job we got paid on tuesdays, i miss that.

i'd still fight with them about the shipping, but hey you're right, at least you're finally getting the darn thing!!!

 

I forgot to mention...you all know how I have the factory 16" wheels on my Monte right? But I had them chromed....well when I had them chromed, they came with new chrome center caps, which did not have the stamped chevy bowtie on them like the OEM ones...I love my wheels, but I've always be bugged by the fact that they are just plain, and I lost the bowtie in the middle. Well yeterday I ordered some overlays that will fill in the center with a black circle, and chrome bowtie with in the circle....I tested in with a computer generated paper version of the overlay, and it looks awesome on the car...small detail, but major difference. It fills in the "somethings missing" feeling i've been having! So those should be here soon. Get this, i ordered them last night, and this morning got a shipping conformation...now thats customer service!

 

I get paid on the 15th and 31st of the month. I'm not crazy about it, but i'm used to it now.

 

michael - that is cool about the center caps - sometimes its the smallest details that make the biggest difference!

Read my post about leather interior...I just got a quote from the Chevy dealer for genuine GM everything...it would be $1295 installed....I thought that seems reasonable...thats right around what I was thinking it would cost...

What is everyones opinion? Is it worth it?

I really want it, and I plan in keeping this car for a long time, so i'm really thinking about it! There goes my tax return...LOL! (that was my mod money afterall right!)

 

I'd go for it. despite being hot in the summer, the leather seats are the most comfortable thing ever in these cars. will you be able to have heated seats too? or is that another expense for the next tax return?

 

that's cool michael, you should have bought the LTZ if you wanted all those extras. but you have a pretty sweet ride anyway you look at it, leather would be nice!!!

Trust me, i'm sure the leather is sweet! Honestly, my cloth seats are super super comfotable too...people sit in my car and say it feels like a lazyboy seat! LOL! My cousin thinks they are more comfortable than the seats in her Acura! I love how wide and supportive they are on my back! But the leather would just make them that much better....And the smell too!

I just hope he knocks a chunck off the price...after all dealers are hurting, so maybe I have a chance! I really want everything to be genuine GM, totally factory!

I don't think heated seats are part off it....would be nice, but I can live without them...its rarley cold enough here that id use them anyway...now the seats with A/C in them, that would be awesome....a Cadillac rental I had while the monte was in the shop had A/C and heated seats...plus the steering wheel was also heated....But anyway, the A/C seats are awesome!

 

Man everyone is complaining about getting paid 2 weeks... or twice a month... i get paid MONTHLY!!
