Sounds almost TOO exciting J.J. I wish I could join you
I just woke up about an hour ago, and later I'll be heading back to the lab to run a few more samples. The Dionex anions machine interrupted in the middle of a run and I don't know why yet, have to re-run all those samples. I have to crank up the ICP Mass Spec for some metals and do some TPHs as well. Did I lose anyone yet? lol.

Matt, You sure have a active interesting life 4 Sure.
I know what my girlfriend had to do/study just to
become a nurse, and it was in depth/intensive studies.
And becoming a doctor takes brains & discipline.

My picture delete reasons ?
The Beach Bum's & I had problems in our teens when
we would post our pictures on the web & give our location
of where we hung out on the beach.
For many reasons we had a ton of predator's from all
over stalking us, and making super weird offers, and
solicitations : ( The police & state attorney's office
got involved and several were arrested. We learned
a very important lesson on Trusting people that we
met online : ( Not all are who they claim 4-Sure.
We were naive, and learned a difficult lesson that there
are some people that have serious problems.
To us, it is very sad...We are very trusting and outgoing,
but have been forced to refrain from sharing our lives the
way we wish, or would like.
They sure took the fun outa life...when U had to always
be on guard : (
* My girlfriend seen that I posted our picture,
and
requested that I delete it...I thought it would be ok now
because it's been a few years since we've had any problems,
but I complied to keep the peace, and not tempt any
possible future problems. It was sure not fun being
stalked for perverted reasons from people with weird
desires/problems.
You would be surprised at the
sexual predator's that are in the area that you live, and
I'm glad they now have a list for everyone to check.

Update: Daytona Beach is flooding, over 25 inches of rain,

The Space Shuttle was delayed from landing 2day because
of the weather, and I wish them a safe journey back
to `earth 2morrow...I hope they can land in Florida.

Hi everyone. I found out today I didn't get the job. Have no idea what to do next. I guess I really suck at design work. Oh well, I guess I will stick with production work. I can't even find a part time retail job.

No I don't know how to do any web design. As I search for Graphic Design jobs in my area, believe it or not, there aren't too many web design jobs in my area.

That is shocking. When I was going on interviews, 4 out of 5 places asked me if I was proficient in flash/web. I hate web, but of course I lied and said yes... and took flash lessons that night :P

Amy, sorry to hear you didn't get THAT job, but as I'm seeing recently, myself included, that you might not get a certain job you THINK you want, because the Man above has something BETTER lined up for you! Pray about it. We will, also, that a GREAT job will come along, and you will be better off then you would imagine. I believe this!
Space, I'm SO sorry to hear about your past experiences, but I totally understand. I would feel AWFUL if something happened to you OR your G/F because of something like that. Predators ARE something that you MUST be aware of at ALL times I feel that we get WAY to careless in our lifestyle on the internet, with myspace, facebook, twitter, etc.
I believe some of you know that I lost my son to drugs 2 years ago. He was laid to rest in Englewood FL, 2 lots down from his sister. Yup, I have laid to rest both my kids. My son at age 25, and my daughter at age 13! THIRTEEN???? Yes, 13. Predator! I let my daughter move down to Englewood with her mother at the age of 12. Her mother was working for a guy that did appliance repair. He had a guy working for him, Bruce Barbre.

Unknown to his employer, he was a convicted child molester. He molested his young daughter, and was sent to prison in Georgia. His parents requested his transfer to Florida, to be closer to him, and thru some documentation mixup, he was released.
Two years later.......my daughter was babysitting for her mom's boss. It was his wife's birthday. "Uncle Bruce" had a key to the house, came in the kitchen door, left a birthday present on the counter, grabbed a steak knife, and.........(SOB!!!!).....
Anyway, they caught the s.o.b. the same night. He led them to her the next day, 20 ft off the road outside of town.
Bruce pleaded no contest to attempted rape, kidnapping, and 1st degree murder, in exchange for 3 consecutive life sentences, instead of the chair.
I KNOW that I will see my daughter again someday, when it's my time. She was a born again Christian, as am I. My son.... I THINK, I pray that he was, but I can't swear to it. I pray that he is with his sister, as I believe that she asked Jesus to have God help my son in his time of trouble.
Now you all know a little more about me.
Space, I sympathize with what you had to go thru, but I thank God you are still here to be a MAJOR part of the Monte Carlo Forum Family. The world would be a better place without them. One is locked up for life.
PLEASE, don't let this bring you all down, or feel sorry for me. This happened, and life goes on. I have a GREAT wife. Someday we will be with my kids again. Life here on planet earth is short. The after life is for eternity. God bless ALL of my MCF family!

I knew about the devasting lost of your son
, but I wassaddened to read about your daughter
.I can't imagine the pains that you had to endure, and I'm
happy that your faith is strong, & assists you in understanding
how fragile that a human life can be.
You have suffered more then any father should, but I am
thankful that you believe in a future reunion for we are
all just pencilled `in, and we never know when we will be
erased from human `life
.I appreciate your concerns & understanding, many do not.
To us, it was a fearful experience, not knowing there are
those that pry on others for perverted reasons.
A experience that will not ever be forgotten..4-Sure.
